Born in San Jose, California as the first in the set of fraternal twins, but raised on the east coast, is where Eashawn Griffin a.k.a Mr. Bones Brigante was created. Having a father from the Bronx by way of Harlem, NY (known to many as the birthplace of hip hop) and a mother from Englewood, NJ, it almost seemed destined for Bones Brigante to carve his place in rap music. Bones split time on both sides of the Hudson River being exposed to the street culture and hip-hop element.
Bones grew fond of rap music golden era and had a knack for remembering rhymes from his favorite emcees including Big Daddy Kane, Special Ed and Rakim.

Once Bones became a teenager, he moved to Maryland to attend high school and play basketball. He competed against area greats such as Carmelo Anthony and Keith Bogans. Despite having a promising basketball career, Bones wanted to pursue his dream to become a rapper. With a wide array of influences, Bones began to cultivate a unique style of his own.
Bones demonstrated that unique style by surviving the first cut of the second season of P Diddy’s Making the Band, it became evident to Bones and everyone around him that he had the talent to take his passion to the next level.

Bones Brigante has gone on to become BET’s 106 & Park Freestyle Friday champion. He featured in the 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards rap cipher. He will also release his highly anticipated debut titled “Bad 2 Da Bones.”
